I'm 5'3", medium build and short waisted. I love how these jeans sit on my hips. The low rise is great and not too low that I cant bend over and feel uncomfortable. They are super soft with room in the thigh and knee that still holds a slim fit. The detail on the pockets is a nice touch. I recommend these jeans.
