I, of course, love the jacket but... I do not think it fair that I was unable to use my 25% of coupon just because I had to purchase it online. They did not have a small in the one Shepler's we have here in town. I could only get a small online. I should really be able to get my 25% discount for this reason. Other stores have always honored coupons if the item was not available in the store.

This is an awesome jacket. It does run small. So if you are going to wear anything thicker than a t-shirt go up a size or two. I usually wear medium and I purchased an XL. The details, color, tassels, everything makes this a perfect addition to my western wardrobe. It is a must have for a Texas Swinger.

I loved this jacket when I saw it because I am a person who really likes something different. The detailing is awesome with the conches and fringes and beadings. BUT, for me it just doesn't fit my body right to show off like I want it to. I, personally, feel that it looks best on someone that is much smaller than me (I'm generally an XL). I tried a 2X, but because of the shorter length and smaller than that normally would run, I still couldn't get the look I wanted. Maybe 30 yrs ago, I could have pulled it off well. For me, if it was more like a blazer length, it would have been perfect. Still beautiful though!
Pros: Attractive Design, Color As Represented
Cons: Uncomfortable, it was too tight for me in the middle.

I love this jacket! Got it for my birthday and have been wearing it every chance I get to every where I go. I always get compliments from both males and females. It is a quality made, well designed garment and the color is gorgeous too. I dress it up with my long skirt and boots for western gala and dress it down with jeans and my belt with the bling bling for the horse riding clubs parties!! Either way I get attention!

The craftsmanship on this jacket is superb! I ordered a small which fit perfectly however I wouldn't have been able to wear anything underneth it like a light sweater. The medium is better for me. I love the turquoise beading and if you zoom in you can really see the incredible detail that went into making this jacket a keeper!

About sizing - I am a US size 6 and spent ages deciding whether to buy a size Small or Medium and chose Medium on the advice of reviews here. I probably should have gotten the small as the sleeves are too long and I will have to alter them and also the jacket is slightly large in the shoulders and tends to slip off, to be expected as I am a small frame. On the plus side the medium gives extra length in the body as the jacket is cut very short. Generally with jackets I get the best fit with a small size that fits the shoulders, and leave the jacket unbuttoned if not roomy enough in the bust. The buyers who think this jacket is cut small are mistaken, it is simply a cut not suited to larger ladies with large bust because it is meant to be very fitted. I am hoping Sheplers will get the other colours in stock - if so I will buy another in the small. Scully make this jacket also in olive, turquoise, grape, chamois, old rust as well as red, black and chocolate.

I really love this jacket, although be aware the sizing is a bit small, I got an XL (I'm an Australian size 16) and found that it was a tad bit small and i cant do the buttons up. This doesnt really bother me though because despite that it sits and fits perfectly elsewhere, and I actually think it sits better than if you could do it up.

The detail on this jacket is incredible. It's even more beautiful in person. Doesn't have a crinkly sound like cheaper jackets. Unless you are a true size 2 or 4 you should order a medium. Fits great but I couldn't wear a light sweater underneath it. I may exchange for a medium but not sure yet.

The jacket feels good and looks great. The trim and design is so pretty. I have had compliments over and over, and asked where I purchased it.
It looks good with jeans or nice slacks.Also looks
great over long prarie skirts.Add a belt and go for it.
Especially with layered turquoise beads and such.
If you are a turquoise lover this is a must have.
