Dan Post handcrafts this sassy short ankle boot with a burnished tan Mad Cat leather foot under a fancy stitched 6" matching leather shaft. Tan leather piping. Boots arrived and the skin of the right boot is much darker and seems to be of very poor quality, glossy and looks as if it's going to crackle. Sheplers repaid me the $139.99 the boots cost me but not the import tax (about $ 37) I had to pay when I collected my order here in Sweden. Letting me keep the boots (returning them would cost about $ 95) I'll never wear because they look like this is not really worth $ 37 according to me but I suppose this will be me a lesson not to order boots.
Except from this the boots are attractive and seem comfortable, maybe a bit small in size.
Pros: Comfortable, Attractive Design
Cons: Color Fades, Low Quality Material

Everything about them is great, apart from they are about half a size big! I am a 9 so I got the 8.5 and they are perfect!! love em!!

These are great little boots which are so beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. I felt there was a slight quality control issue though : my left boot feels much more "worn" and looser than the right. The leather feels thinner and softer while the right, while not stiff, just feels firmer and more supportive. In fact just to feel the boots, you wouldn't ever imagine they make one pair. I've had to insert insoles into both as they were slightly large, but with the left boot, I've since had to include a second half insole, a suede heel grip and wear a thicker sock to counter the looseness! Even accounting for a slight difference in my foot size, I've never had to do that before. I checked the boots to see if I'd mistakenly been sent another size in the left, but no, they are the same - I guess it's just the quality of the leather and how distressed it was. Despite that, I love the boots and am ordering another pair in a different color and hoping the next pair turn out to be more evenly matched.
As far as general sizing goes, I'm a 7.5 with a slightly wide foot (though still fit a medium width) - these were great on width and even slightly large (requiring an insole) , but I would not go down a half size on length.

These are so comfortable. Put them on when I received them in the post and wore them all day at work and haven't stopped. People always comment how nice they are under jeans and I also plan on wearing then in summer with skirt, dress etc. They are the best boots with their comfort and style...such a winner!

These boots are fantastic !! they look like a cowboy has been wearing them for years ! I love that about them - who wants new looking cowboy boots ?! not me :0) They are made beautifully -the leather is soft as butter and the soul is really cool. They smell like heaven ! I honestly cant rave about them enough - really comfortable with no wearing in time. They are really light to wear. A great boot at a fantastic price. I ordered a half size smaller than usual so they fit great
