I've worn cowwboy boots for more than 35 years and have worn just aout every brand that you can think of. Some are hundreds of dollars and are about as comfortable as sitting on a stainless steel seat in Alaska. Some, like these, are affordable and fit like a glove. The sizing is spot-on to my shoe size.
As a Kansan by birth, and a longtime boot wearer, I can HIGHLY recommend these for comfort. The suede probably won't hold-up to farm work, but there are polished leather ones available for that. These are going to be my everyday toe jockeys.

My boots arrived with a small repaired cut on the toe. My assumption was that this was the reason they were on sale. The repair was so small that no one would notice; so I was not particularly distressed. The boots are comfortable to wear, and they look good. I really have no complaint. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the transaction.

My first pair of cowboy boots and I score 100%. These boots are great. They are true to size- no need to order larger than what you normally wear. The suede is soft and the boot is comfortable to walk in. Have to get used to the cowboy heel. I think they are real neat - Now I need some doggies for this 63 year old cowboy to wrangle!!

The first pair of these boots I received came in a box that was torn up and falling apart. The boots themselves had a small black mark on the toe so i decided to send then back for a new pair. I received the new pair today, in a very timely manner and in an intact box. However, the boots once again had a black mark on them. Since the mark is rather small, I've decided to keep the boots since I like the overall look and the fit. The bottom line, I guess, is that these are $60 boots and that's what you're getting. They aren't Dan Post or Ariat, so if you can live with that, then these boots are fine.

My husband has been looking for a roughout boot like he had as a young man. He really likes this one. The previous reviews we read advised this boot runs small, however, we had to exchange for a smaller size. He has a narrow foot with a narrow heel. The exchange process was very easy & fast. This is an excellent boot for the price.

These boots are the best. They not only look great, they are very confortable as well. In terms of sizing, I wear a 9 1/2 D in most shoes; and that's the size I ordered. They are a perfect fit. I think the craftsmanship and quality are excellent. My wife has always hated cowboy boots but has to admit she really likes the looks of these and likes the way the look on me. You cannot find a better pair of boots and you will not find a pair at a better price than these. Shipping was also very quick. What are you waiting for - order a pair!

I'm not sure that ordering boots 1/2 size bigger than normal per the advertising listing. The boots feel fine, but if there is any stretch they might be a little too big. When I order the next time, I'll order my normal size I currently wear. The boots are made of good, soft leather and the stitching looks great. I see no flaws in these boots. I will look at the "Old West" boots the next time buy.

I have a very hard time finding shoes and boots that wear well. I have had these boots for one month and they wear very well. I work outdoors in very rough enviroment and I expect these boots to last at least six months, and perhaps longer. I have paid much more for boots that only last a few weeks. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The boot was very comfortable, and everyone including myself liked the looks, however the leather was very thin, but for what I paid I expected it wouldn't be of the highest quality, however, I didn't expect the leather to rip like a shirt when I got it caught on my chair at work. I had the boots about 1month before the tearing occurred. Lesson learned...you get what you pay for..

I have been buying all my boots from Shepler's for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. These Roughouts are no exception. This is my third pair of these (I have one black and two natural). They are very high quality, a great fit and very stylish. I have two other pairs of boots from this store and very satisfied. However these boots are poor quality. First time I tried to pull them on the boot pull strap broke.
Dont want to get into back and forth with Sheplers so I took them to a local boot shop for a $20 repair.

Shipping speed was normal. The shipping box looked as if it went through a hurricane but the boots were untouched thankfully. Actual color of boot is much brighter than display picture. The boots are built for show not labor (leather is very thin). Order a half size larger in length than your true size. The boots look great on and even better with a good ol' pair of Levis.

When I first saw these boots, I thought that they looked attractive but I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price. How could something this inexpensive be any good? Well, let this be the lesson of the day: You don't have to pay more to get more. Right out of the box, these felt like I had been wearing them for six months. There was practically no break-in period with these boots. The color was adverised, and after a quick sealing spray, these babies were ready to rock! I get a lot of compliments on these roughouts, and I proudly tell people to check Sheplers online catalog for a pleasant surprise.

I have not worn boots for several years until I bought these and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and looks of these inexpensive boots. They seem to be constructed well and only time will tell if they hold up but I believe they will, in fact I bought a second pair.

was not happy with the round toe, the black suede type i got last month (basically the same boot, just different color)wewr sent with pointed toes , these natural color came in round toe, it is portrayed in the online catalog with the pointed toe i like to wear.
